Hyperakt taps into the pulse of the Brooklyn business community through networking
What does your business do? When and Why did you join the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce?
Hyperakt is a graphic design firm based in Carroll Gardens specializing in Web sites and brand identity, as well as animated presentations for the Web and conferences. We also provide marketing support to a variety of our clients throughout the tri-state area from start-up businesses to established brands. Most recently we were one of two design teams working on Brooklyn’s newly launched Brooklyn Tourism site as part of Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz’s tourism initiatives. Some of our other major clients include Planet Hollywood, Circle Line Ellis Island & Statue of Liberty Ferry, GlaxoSmithKline and More NYC.
We joined the Chamber at a Business After Hours in 2003, to expand our client list through networking.
How has your Brooklyn Chamber membership assisted your business?
The monthly Business After Hours provide us with consistent networking opportunities where we’ve been able to connect with other hip, savvy and progressive Members who helped us shape and fund Art4Now, an arts education nonprofit we co-founded for at-risk and underserved NYC youth. Last year several Brooklyn Chamber Members like Health Plus, Astoria Federal, Rice and the Port Authority of New York & New Jersey sponsored our inaugural program: CitySenses 2004. Additionally, we are proud to have produced promotional materials for the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce, which has provided us with high-impact exposure in the Brooklyn business community.
