Promotion

  • Brooklyn’s Progress * – You are entitled to a one-time business listing and a ½ page color ad in the next 6 issues: 10”w x 7”h, 4-color (no bleeds), 200 dpi or better, PDF format with embedded fonts.   • Brochure Distribution – We will distribute your company brochures at select Chamber events. Send us a box of brochures today!

  • Logo Placement – You are entitled to logo placements on ibrooklyn.com and select Chamber materials, including Brooklyn’s Progress, Chamber event signage, fax sheets and event journals. Email logo in JPEG and EPS formats: color and black & white, 300 dpi or better.

  • Enhanced business listing in the Membership Directory at ibrooklyn.com.

  • Business After Hours (BAHs) Networking Events – You and your colleagues are entitled to free admission to all BAHs (at least 6 times per year): register online at www.ibrooklyn.com.

    • Exhibit Table – You are entitled to an exhibit table at all BAHs and at each Business Expo (as applicable).

  • Special Events Tickets – You and your colleagues receive tickets to each of the following events: Annual Meeting, Business Expos, Legislative Breakfasts and any engagements featuring notable speakers: register online at www.ibrooklyn.com. All guests must register five business days in advance of the event date.

  • Success Story – Members can receive free home page promotion by submitting a Success Story highlighting their Brooklyn Chamber membership success.

  • Member-to-Member Discounts Program – Offer special discounts and promotions to other Chamber Members. This offer will be promoted in all new Member welcome kits, Brooklyn’s Progress and at www.ibrooklyn.com. Login and visit the “Member-to-Member Discounts” on www.ibrooklyn.com to get started.

Below are services that the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce provides support in:

  • Health Insurance – Brooklyn HealthWorks is a low-cost health insurance program designed to assist small businesses in Brooklyn by providing employees and their families with affordable, comprehensive health coverage. Contact: Theresa Reyes, treyes@brooklynchamber.com or 718-596-4550.

  • Human Resources Assistance – The expanded workforce development program offers support in the areas of employee retention, access to worker training grants, access to tax credits and wage subsidies, legal and organizational development referrals and employee handbook development.   • Manufacturing – Brooklyn Goes Global (BGG) provides sales and marketing assistance to Brooklyn-based food and beverage manufacturers through trade show placement, referrals and educational and networking opportunities.   • Procurement – Brooklyn Connects provides comprehensive procurement assistance to Brooklyn businesses, enabling both new and experienced Brooklyn vendors, particularly minority and woman owned businesses in learning about and preparing for bidding opportunities.   • Real Estate & Development (RED) – The RED program assists Brooklyn companies in business expansion efforts and works to attract firms to Brooklyn. Contact: Andrew Steininger, asteininger@brooklynchamber.com or 718-875-1000 ext. 137.

  • Small Business Counseling – NYC Business Solutions, Brooklyn offers a comprehensive menu of business development assistance. Services include government facilitation, access to incentive programs, business planning and various forms of technical assistance to entrepreneurs and small businesses.
