Cindy Jin finds the connections her business needs to grow at the Chamber
What does your business do? When and Why did you join the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce?
We are a full-service marketing firm founded in November 2005, created from the idea that businesses need individual attention and custom tailored marketing solutions. We do everything from logo design to full-blown campaigns and service clients in all industries both regionally and nationally.
We joined the Chamber soon after starting our business. As co-founder of Phoenix Rising, as well as a former employee of the Chamber, Tiffany Antoine knew that the Chamber was the first place to go for networking as well as business services and resources.
How has your Brooklyn Chamber membership assisted your business?
Our membership has connected us to our peers through networking, especially at the Business After Hours – at the April BAH we met Bruce Kessler of Julienne Catering who is now a client. We now have access to the Chamber’s Member mailing list, which is another great resource. The Chamber’s Web site keeps us abreast of events and news in our community, and as a result, we are in touch with a few business owners who are interested in our services, and vice versa. The Brooklyn Business Solutions Center staff not only advised us on our own business when we were starting up, but we also gained clients from their putting us in touch with other businesses that could use our services. There couldn’t be a more palpable success, and we are proud to be Members of the Chamber!
