| November 21, 2008 to June 30, 2009 In partnership with The Brooklyn Historical Society, the Skylight Gallery will present Reflections on Community Development: Stories from Bedford Stuyvesant Restoration Corporation, a new exhibit focusing on the rise and importance of community development corporations (CDCs), from their inception during the late 1960’s into the present. This retrospective exhibit will encompass oral histories, captivating photographs, and rare documents that reflect Restoration’s dynamic 40 year history, from its earliest meetings, to projects and events that were documented throughout the year.
