Jeanette G. Nigro Vice President, Workforce and Training
Jeanette G. Nigro is Vice President of Workforce and Training at the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce and the Brooklyn Business Solutions Center. In this role, she is charged with overseeing the Brooklyn Chamber’s workforce development initiatives, including its Good Help staffing program, and growing the Chamber’s role as a trusted workforce intermediary in New York City’s workforce development system.
Since joining the Chamber in March of 2005, Jeanette has effectively expanded the workforce development department’s services, which now include employment and staffing, human resources planning and workforce development training and incentives programs. Her staff provides technical assistance on incumbent worker training, and assists businesses in coordinating expansion hiring and developing effective program planning for long term growth and retention.
Prior to joining the Brooklyn Chamber, Jeanette worked as a licensed financial advisor and account executive for a national securities investment firm. Her background, mainly in sales management, has offered her the opportunity to build and maintain successful relationships in a wide range of business sectors.
Jeanette received her Bachelor of Science in Business, Management and Finance from Brooklyn College. A longtime resident of Brooklyn, Jeanette currently resides in Rockaway Park, Queens.
