The Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce and its Government Affairs Committee meet with state legislators in Albany every spring during its annual lobbying trip.
Under the direction of its Government Affairs Committee, the Brooklyn Chamber conducts an annual survey of its membership to help identify and prioritize the organization’s “Agenda for Growth.” The Agenda for Growth lays out issues to help make Brooklyn an even greater place to do business, work and live. Each year the document is updated, looking at government issues that affect businesses in Brooklyn.
The 2008 Albany Lobbying Trip took place on March 10 and 11, during which a delegation of Brooklyn Chamber Member volunteers met with state legislators. Click the links below to read about the Chamber's state legislative agenda for 2008:
