The NYC Business Solutions Center at the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce is an initiative of the New York City Department of Small Business Services (SBS) and brings the services of SBS to the five boroughs of NYC.  The NYC Business Solutions Center at the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce provides access to the following services:
 
Business Assistance
Promotes the development and economic well being of growing businesses by providing answers to questions, offering classes, making referrals, coordinating SBS services, and leveraging government and community resources and contacts.  The Solutions Center also assists small businesses in addressing unresolved problems they may be having with City, State and Federal agencies or with utility companies.

Procurement Opportunities
Identifies Federal, State and City contracting opportunities for New York City businesses, and provides technical assistance to give businesses the tools they need to bid successfully.

Franchise Development
Assists potential franchisees and franchisors in assessing the possibilities of franchising as a business model, including reviewing the roles of the franchisor and franchisee, what to consider before purchasing a franchise and guidelines for the franchisor. 

Financing
There are numerous programs and services that are specifically dedicated to helping small businesses access the financing they need. 

Business Incentives
Connects eligible businesses to City, State, and Federal programs that promote investment; encourage employment, relocation and retention; and reduce operating costs.  
 
Business Planning
Whether you’re a seasoned professional or a budding entrepreneur, the Business Solutions Center can help you access the technical assistance you need for your business endeavors.  The Business Solutions Center provides access to various training and development programs for businesses at all stages of development.

Workforce Development, Real Estate, Technology, Marketing and Promotion are areas of assistance that are also available.
