Media Relations Assistance
As part of its promotional services for Members, the Brooklyn Chamber provides media relations assistance through its Communications department.  Members who need basic public relations tips may download a "press tool kit" that includes templates for news releases, media advisories and calendar listings; a media contacts list; plus tips on how to plan a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

Member Mailing Labels
Chamber Members can market their messages directly to their fellow Members by purchasing the Brooklyn Chamber's mailing list of 1,500 Members as mailing labels.  List segmentation is available.

SPONSORSHIP

Sponsor an Event
Chamber Members can provide their businesses with invaluable exposure by hosting and/or sponsoring a Business After Hours (BAH) networking event or other Chamber event, seminar or workshop.  There are also opportunities to sponsor a BAH door prize.  The Chamber's schedule of events demonstrate the number and variety of events available to Chamber Members and the greater business community all year long.

Be a Seminar Presenter
Chamber Members may also have the opportunity to demonstrate their professional expertise as a presenter at a small business seminar, planned and hosted by the Chamber's Small Business Seminar Committee (SBSC).

ADVERTISING

Brooklyn Business Directory and Buying Guide
Members can get your-round exposure for their businesses by placing advertising in the the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce's Brooklyn Business Directory and Buying Guide.  The 2007-2008 edition was distributed to over 2,000 businesses.  Advertising orders for the 2008-2009 edition will be accepted in the spring.  To find out more, contact Manager of Marketing & Promotions Yuk Ling Lo at 718 875-1000 ext. 116, or at ylo@brooklynchamber.com.

Brooklyn's Progress
Through the sponsorship of Atlantis Health Plan and the support of Courier-Life Publications, Chamber Members and other Brooklyn businesses can get their messages in front of the Brooklyn business community and government officials with an ad in Brooklyn's Progress, the Brooklyn Chamber's own bimonthly business newspaper with a circulation of 26,000.  Contact the advertising department at Courier-Life directly for ad sizes and pricing at 718 615-2500, or at sales@courierlife.net.

Brooklyn Chamber Members can also submit articles about their businesses to be featured in Brooklyn's Progress, which are posted two weeks after publication at Brooklyn's Progress Online.
