What does your business do? When and Why did you join the Brooklyn Chamber?
We are fine furniture makers based in Dumbo, Brooklyn. Our work joins a love for experimentation, respect for modern design and trust in traditional furniture-making techniques. We pride ourselves in creating functional designs with exquisite materials and subtle details. Since 1996, we have worked with residential and commercial clients who are willing to pay a little more for enduring value and intelligent design. All City Joinery furniture is drawn and made to order one piece at a time, and built to last for generations.
We joined the Chamber in April 2003 as a result of our participation and belief in BKLYN DESIGNS.

How has your Brooklyn Chamber membership assisted your business?
We were excited to learn the Chamber would be producing a furniture design show, and became involved with BKLYN DESIGNS from its inception. The show has been great for us. Not only does it provide great exposure for our business and the design industry in Brooklyn as a whole, but we also meet new and existing customers at the show every year. The Chamber’s Brooklyn Business Solutions Center has also helped us in various regards, including assisting with an industrial relocation grant that has allowed our business to remain in Brooklyn.
