What does your business do? When and Why did you join the Brooklyn Chamber?
PAFCU is a 65-year-old not-for-profit, full-service financial organization committed to helping improve the lives of its 45,000+ members throughout the U.S. We have two Brooklyn offices – 69 Atlantic Avenue (with ATM service) and 67 Hanson Place. As a not-for-profit, we are able to offer low or no-cost financial services and higher dividends on savings. PAFCU membership is offered as a no-cost employee benefit to businesses and other legal entities and persons who live, work, worship or attend school within Community Planning Districts 3, 8 or 9. We also offer kinship accounts that allow family members to join and enjoy all the benefits of PAFCU.
We joined the Chamber in 1999 when we opened our Atlantic Avenue branch to network with the local companies and become involved in the community.

How has your Brooklyn Chamber membership assisted your business?
"Our involvement with the Brooklyn Chamber has helped to boost our membership in the area, especially through participation at the Chamber’s networking events and trade shows. For example, our Business Development Representative Daisy Dobbins met Peter Petino of Active Transport at an after hours networking event. Shortly thereafter Peter contacted her to sign up his 15-member team realizing that offering PAFCU membership to his employees was a great business decision. We look forward to continuing these types of connections through our Chamber relationship."
