The Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce is gearing up for a full slate of events to take Members through the New Year.
Coming up on Oct. 26 is the Chamber’s Annual Membership Meeting & Luncheon and Business Trade Show, which will feature a keynote address from New York State Comptroller Thomas P. DiNapoli.
This year’s meeting will be held at Stage 6 at Steiner Studios, located in the Brooklyn Navy Yard.
Annual Dinner Dance The 2007 Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce 90th annual Dinner Dance will honor Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz.
“As we enter our tenth decade of service to the business community of Brooklyn, it is only fitting to look back at the Chamber’s history and how we’re contributed to the borough’s growth, and to celebrate our accomplishments in the borough’s development,” said Carl Hum, president and CEO of the Brooklyn Chamber. “And at the same time, it is only appropriate that we recognize and honor someone who has been a key champion in helping make Brooklyn what it is today, and that person is Marty Markowitz.”
The annual event will also serve to recognize past board chairs that have laid the foundation for the Chamber. The festivities will take place on Dec. 13 at El Caribe Country Club in Mill Basin.
