A misty morning gave way to sun and fun at the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce’s annual Golf and Tennis Classic, held Aug. 6. The event was held at the Inwood Country Club in Inwood, Long Island, where Members took to the green and the courts to show off their skills.

Thanks to the sponsors, Chase Bank, Commerce Bank, Con Edison, Continuum Health Partners, Pfizer, Inc., Preferred Health Partners, Sovereign Bank, Citibank, N.A., Northfield Bank, GHI and St. Joseph's College, the event was a huge success.

On the green, golfers competed for honors handed out later that day and the Inwood Country Club’s own tennis pro came out to help with any rusty serves.

After a deluxe brunch and a day out, players reconvened for a cocktail hour and gourmet buffet dinner. Ace Hardware, A-Soulage, LLC, Citibank N.A., CitiStorage, Comfort Inn, Commerce Bank, Empire Golf Services, Hibiscus Day Spa, HIP USA,
Holiday Inn Express and KeySpan all donated raffle prizes and all the guests took home goody bags, courtesy of the Brooklyn Botanic Garden, Citibank, N.A., Commerce Bank, Con Edison, Continuum Health Partners, Crain’s New York Business, First Source Staffing, GHI, Hibiscus Day Spa, HIP USA, Karen Parker-New York Life, Lutheran HealthCare and the New York Aquarium.
