Brooklyn's Progress October/November 2007
BY JILL D’AMICO
All the elements were there for a fabulous Business After Hours networking event on Sept. 20 – great location, a great crowd, and the first BAH for new Chamber President and CEO, Carl Hum.
The event was hosted at the New York Transit Museum, which is located in a 60,000-square foot decommissioned subway station in Brooklyn Heights. The hands-on exhibits and real subway cars and buses fascinated Members and provided a great setting for the evening.
The BAH was possible thanks to the support of the Tanzania Chamber of Commerce Industry and Agriculture, which had brought a delegation to New York for a trade mission that coincided with the UN General Assembly, which opened that week.
