Fulton F.I.R.S.T., an initiative of the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce, sponsored by the Fleet Boston Financial Foundation to promote retail development along Fulton Street, is proud to announce their holiday marketing extravaganza, “Festive Fulton!” “Festive Fulton!” is designed to entice shoppers to Fulton Street to kick-off the holiday shopping season. It is a great example of a collaboration with the Chamber, this generous corporate sponsor and local stores to create business in Brooklyn. “Festive Fulton!” will run from Thursday, November 29 through Sunday, December 2 with special events and sales at participating merchants on Fulton Street from Flatbush to Greene avenues. Thursday evening the 29th starts with a 6 p.m. lighting of new “Festive Fulton!” holiday snowflakes on street poles. That night there will be street performers and carolers on Fulton Street, free tastings in restaurants and galleries, and free hot cocoa to keep shoppers warm and in the holiday spirit as they shop special sales in participating stores and a Shopping Party at the Downtown Showroom hosted by Brooklyn Style with sample sales and designer items at Brooklyn prices! Designers include: Anona Evans, Bambina di Cioccolato, Design Six, Epperson Studio, Exodus Industrial, Khemit Kids, Left Field, NUFLO, Raif Fashion, Smith&Hone, and Tolonen. “Festive Fulton!” is offering an incentive raffle free with each purchase at participating merchants from November 29 to December 2. Prizes include Knicks tickets, tickets to a BAM production of your choice, or a pair of tickets to a Broadway show.
