NYCMadeForYou Helps Travelers Across the Country Plan Trips to New York City back to Brooklyn's Progress Online

Brooklyn's Progress
November 2003

By NCYMadeForYou

The south meets the north as Traci S. Jackson, Founder and CEO, announces the opening of NYCMadeForYou.  NYCMadeForYou is a premier entertainment planning service for people living or traveling to New York City.

Jackson has developed a solution for travelers coming to New York City who want to leave with a memorable experience.  NYCMadeForYou is a premiere entertainment planning service that provides a one-stop shop for arranging airline, hotel, transportation, theater tickets, restaurant reservations, discount shopping spots, spa appointments and much more, all customized to the client’s specifications.

“Why not use the services of someone who lives here and experiences New York everyday, someone who has a pulse on why this city is commonly referred to as The City That Never Sleeps?” said Jackson.

NYCMadeForYou was started by Jackson in August 2003 with the idea that in order to truly experience New York City, travelers should not have to rely solely on a travel agent who may not have ever traveled to New York. The Company is the only entertainment service available focusing exclusively on traveling to New York.

“It’s almost like having your own personal concierge because the guess work has all been taken out – all you have to do is relax and have fun,” says Jackson.

The service can be used by first time visitors to New York City, travel agents, individuals, groups and corporations simply by going to the web site at http://www.nycmadeforyou.com/ and selecting the service(s) you want.  NYCMadeForYou is well suited for travelers arriving from the south because many people from that area of the country have a negative perception of New York that prevents them from visiting.

“Because I’m originally from the South, I believe I know what my fellow natives would look for when traveling to a city like New York,” said Jackson.  “I can offer sound, practical advice about the best (and safest) places to go for dining, shopping and fun that’s better than anything found in a travel guide to New York City.  It’s always better to get advice from residents about their city.”
