The Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the honorees for its 87th Annual Dinner Dance: Pamela Adamo, Vice President of Public Affairs for Keyspan Corporation will receive the Corporate Citizen of the Year Award. As Vice President of Public Affairs for KeySpan Corporation, Pamela Adamo has led a dramatic evolution in the company’s community, economic development and corporate philanthropy programs. We commend her for her many efforts in partnering with civic, cultural and community organizations across Brooklyn to enrich the quality of life for all Brooklynites.
Larry and Christian Vivola, Partners, Fratelli Ravioli, will receive the Entrepreneurs of the Year Award. Larry and Christian Vivola have advanced the business goals of their family-owned business, Fratelli Ravioli, through hard work and dedication to quality and customer service. Now celebrating their 25th anniversary, they recently created franchise opportunities, fulfilling the dreams of other entrepreneurs and assuring that more and more New Yorkers enjoy their gourmet ravioli.
Robert W. Walsh, Commissioner for the New York City Department of Small Business Services, will receive the Leadership and Public Service Award. Commissioner Robert W. Walsh has reorganized and re-invigorated the New York City Department of Small Business Services, making the agency more responsive to the needs of small businesses and promoting economic development. His commitment to fostering neighborhood development, job creation and new investment has helped businesses and communities prosper across New York City.
The Brooklyn Chamber’s 87th Annual Dinner Dance will take place on Thurs., Dec. 2 at El Caribe Country Club, 5945 Strickland Ave. in Mill Basin, from 6 to 10 p.m. The cocktail reception begins at 6 p.m. and the dinner begins at 7 p.m. Tickets for the cocktail reception are $150. A premium ticket is $250, which includes the cocktail reception and the dinner.
