Loretta Mathushek, Small Business Relationship Manager, HSBC Bank, was honored in December by the Brooklyn Council Boy Scouts of America during the 2004 Women of Achievement Awards Breakfast held at the New York Marriott at the Brooklyn Bridge.  Ms. Mathushek, who will be retiring from HSBC Bank during the first quarter of 2005, was an active Brooklyn Chamber Board Member and Membership Committee Co-chair until announcing her retirement.  "She has been a bundle of joy to work with on teh Board and as Committee Co-chair.  I really appreciate her commitment," said Darryl Hollon, Brooklyn Chamber Membership Director. Thanks to her efforts, HSBC is a Supporter Level Member in the Chamber, opening the door for many of her colleagues to get better connected across the borough. In her acceptance speech Ms. Mathushek related that she became involved in the Boy Scouts because she learned over the years what a major role the organization played in developing and shaping the lives of young boys and adolescents.
