The Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce’s Member discount program at ibrooklyn.com launched on Nov. 16.  The Chamber is pleased to offer Member-to-Member, one of many exclusive benefits available to Brooklyn Chamber Members.  Member-to-Member is an easy and effective way for Chamber Members to generate additional business through the promotion of Member-only discount offers.

“Together with the other promotional opportunities available at the Chamber, both online and offline, the Member-to-Member discount program affords Members with a convenient and effective way to connect with each other to conduct business,” says the Chamber’s Membership Director Darryl Hollon.

Member-to-Member presents discount offers in an easily sortable list by category or by company.  In addition to the discount listings, each individual Member discount is highlighted on a rotational basis at the top of the Member-to-Member page.

Member-to-Member is quick and easy to use!  Chamber Members only need access to the Internet and an email account to take advantage of the promotion of their products and services at Member-to-Member:

1. Log onto ibrooklyn.com’s “Members Only” area using your Chamber Member ID.
2. Go to Member-to-Member and click the "Add a Discount" link on the far right side of the tool.
3. Complete the form and submit your discount offer.
4. Submissions are reviewed on a daily basis; you will be notified via email within 48 hours of the status of your discount offer.
5. Members who request your discount will click the link on your offer to complete the submission form.
6. You will receive an email notification of the discount requested with the Member’s contact information.
7. Follow up with your customer!  It’s that easy.

An email account is not required for Members looking to take advantage of the great deals on products and services at Member-to-Member.  The option to print a confirmation of their discount requests is provided in addition to an email confirmation, if applicable.

The Brooklyn Chamber’s campaign to promote its Member businesses through their Member discount offers is already underway across its communications vehicles including ibrooklyn.com, as well as at Chamber events.  All Members have to do is participate!
