The Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce's comprehensive resource guide to Brooklyn – Brooklyn @tlas – will be available in early spring and may be purchased at Barnes & Noble, Hudson News, Brooklyn Tourism & Visitors Center, NYC & Company Visitor Centers, and local independent bookstores. New Brooklyn residents will receive complimentary copies exclusively through Fillmore Real Estate. All active Members of the Brooklyn Chamber also will receive a complimentary copy as a benefit of their membership.

The Brooklyn @tlas is presented in cooperation with the Brooklyn Delegation to the New York City Council, and produced in partnership with VanDam Inc. through the Brooklyn Alliance, the nonprofit economic development affiliate of the Brooklyn Chamber.

Guide for Event Planners
Next, get ready for the Brooklyn Event Planner, the Chamber’s guide to special event planning in Brooklyn. Scheduled for release in late spring, this 32-page booklet printed with laminated and triple gate folded maps will list – geographically as well as alphabetically – accommodations, caterers, event planners, entertainment companies, production services, private rooms, rental companies tips for planning events in Brooklyn, transportation and general venue listings (museums, catering halls, restaurants, bars/lounges and clubs with event space).

The Brooklyn Event Planner will be distributed to New York City area meeting and event planners and to administrators of conferences taking place in NYC through 2008.  In addition the guide will be available at Brooklyn Tourism & Visitors Center, NYC & Company and online at http://www.brooklynease.com/, the Chamber’s neighborhood retail directory.
