The Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce held its sixth and final Member Orientation for the year at the New York Public Library’s Business Library at 280 Cadman Plaza West in Brooklyn Heights on Nov. 16. More than 30 new and veteran Members networked with each other and Chamber staff, enjoyed breakfast and learned how to effectively maximize their Chamber memberships.  Business Librarian Paul Otto briefly reviewed the vast online and offline resources available at the Business Library.  Following the morning’s presentation, Members received hands-on instruction in creating their free Web pages hosted on ibrooklyn.com during the EZWeb Workshop; this popular tool was developed by Chamber Member Herbert Samuels of Pure Source.  The next Member Orientation is scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 11, 2007 at the Business Library.  We hope to see you there!
