The Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the following staff appointments:

Financial Services: Elizaveta Efuni joined the Chamber as director of financial services on Nov. 5. Ms. Efuni, who assumes the position from former Director Daniel Fisher, will assist small businesses with financing and preparation of loan packages.  She will also provide technical support to business owners in the development of their business plans.

With a consulting background in corporate diversity issues, Ms. Efuni formerly served as financial education counselor with ACCIÓN New York/New Jersey where she provided individual counseling and workshops in microfinance. She holds a Masters degree in Economics from New York University and a Bachelors degree in Management and Economics from Moscow State University. She is located at the Brooklyn Business Solutions Center, a walk-in center for business development sponsored by the New York City Department of Small Business Services, located on the fifth floor at 9 Bond St. in downtown Brooklyn.
