Joseph Miller and Thomas S. Baylis, both litigators at the law firm of Cullen and Dykman LLP, have been elected partners at the firm effective January 1, 2003.

Joseph Miller, 33, is a tort litigation attorney in the firm’s Brooklyn, New York office.  His practice focuses primarily on the defense of construction site accidents, automobile accidents, premises liability accidents, products liability claims, fire and explosion cases, and complex litigation cases.  He also routinely advises clients on insurance coverage issues and litigates first-party actions and insurance coverage disputes.

Mr. Miller is a graduate of Pace University School of Law.  He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Scranton.  He lives in Manhattan.

Mr. Baylis, 39, is a commercial litigator in the firm’s Garden City, Long Island, office.  He deals with a wide variety of matters, including commercial real estate disputes, lender liability suits, creditor’s rights matters, breach of contract actions, land use and zoning disputes, construction law actions, RICO actions, trademark and copyright claims and employment law matters.

Mr. Baylis received both his law degree and undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania.  He resides in Rockville Centre, New York, with his wife Meghan and their two children.
