Brooklyn's Progress April 2002 The Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce is pleased to welcome three new staff members: Douglas Jones, Yuriy Musayev and Walid E. Mitwalli. Doug is the new manager of Fulton FIRST. Yuriy and Walid are new accountants in our Finance Department. Doug is a six year veteran of Neighborhood Housing Service-Bedford/Stuyvesant Inc. His key areas of expertise include residential housing revitalization, community empowerment and mortgage based lending. Doug’s achievements include developing and implementing a community sponsorship program with the New York City Housing Partnership. He also developed and implemented a marketing program for neighborhood real estate developers and a reverse mortgage counseling program. Doug received a bachelor’s degree from Morehouse College in 1990 and a master of fine arts degree from Columbia University in 1998. Yuriy, a native of the Soviet Union, expects to graduate from Baruch College this June with a degree in accounting. Walid has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Alexandra University in Alexandra, Egypt. Doug and Yuriy started work on April 1. Walid’s first day of work was April 8. |
