New York Congregational Community Services Executive Vice President Saluted for National Women's History Month
By New York Congregational Community Services March has been designated as National Women's History Month - a time set aside to recognize the accomplishments of women. The Caribbean American Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Inc. have chosen Celia Zuckerman, Executive Vice President of New York Congregational Community Services as a Woman History Maker honoree for their 17th Annual Salute to Women History Makers Celebration. The event was held at the historic Brooklyn Borough Hall, 209 Joralemon Street, downtown Brooklyn on Wednesday, March 5. "I am deeply touched, honored and proud to be acknowledged by CACCI as a Woman History Maker for my contributions to the community," said Celia Zuckerman. "We look at each day as an opportunity to do more and to become better at the work we do. We are fortunate to have established wonderful partnerships that enable me to reach further into the community and hopefully make a difference." Celia C. Zuckerman is the Executive Vice President of New York Congregational Community Services since 1999. She is the Chief Executive Officer and is responsible for all corporate entities of New York Congregational. Ms. Zuckerman also holds the title of Administrator of New York Congregational Nursing Center. New York Congregational Community Services is a nonprofit community service organization whose purpose is to act as the corporate sponsor of its four affiliates: New York Congregational Nursing Center; a 200-bed, skilled Nursing Facility, the Center For Community Life; a multi-service community center located on the same campus as the Nursing Center, New York Congregational Home For The Aged Foundation, and New York Congregational Community Properties, Inc. CACCI is a nonprofit organization that was founded in 1985 to promote economic development among small businesses. |
