Commerce Bank (NYSE: CBH) has announced that George M. Greene has been named Vice President, Commercial Lending, for the bank's growing Brooklyn market. Mr. Greene will develop customized lending solutions for a wide range of commercial clients in Brooklyn.

Mr. Greene has more than 30 years banking experience and was most recently a commercial lender at Valley National Bank in Manhattan. Before that, he was a loan portfolio manager with Fleet Bank. Mr. Greene began his banking career with Chemical Bank.
