The first day of spring sprung vibrantly with healthy networking as the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce held its March Business After Hours networking event at the stylish Body By Brooklyn Spa and Lounge on Mar. 21. Located at 275 Park Avenue in Clinton Hill, Body By Brooklyn Spa and Lounge offers a unique blend of services, evoking a genuine sense of comfort and style combined with a steamy mix of health and hedonism.

Some 125 Chamber Members enjoyed tours of the facility (an attractive 10,000 square-foot emporium about a block south of the Brooklyn Navy Yard) and learned about the curative effects of water and heat. Several Members were also treated to relaxing massage treatments. Body By Brooklyn capped the evening off with a gift certificate (VIP service for two), which was won by Chamber Member Mike Polack of Global Merchant Solutions, LLC.

Body By Brooklyn, which opened a year ago, features a Russian bath, Turkish aroma steam room, cedar sauna, thermal hot tub and cold plunge pool. Owner Mira Goldin said visitors could also stop by to enjoy cocktails and drinks by the fireplace. Mellow music and flat TV screens featuring travel shows highlighting exotic locations add to the ambience. Paintings and wall colors by Brooklyn artist David Goldin complete the scene.
