Brooklyn's Progress May 2002
The Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce has created a new level of Chamber membership – The Leadership Circle. Joining the new level of membership are Con Edison, KeySpan and HEALTH PLUS. These companies over the years have increased their support and membership dues with the Brooklyn Chamber. An increase in support enables the Chamber to help more of its Members grow. The Brooklyn Chamber acknowledges the increased dues support with an increase in publicity and recognition. Benefits for the various levels of dues support include hanging company banners at Chamber events, ads in Brooklyn’s Progress and tickets to Brooklyn Chamber events and head table seating at events. Annual dues paid by Members enables the Chamber to promote business development throughout Brooklyn. Thanks to Members’ support, the Brooklyn Chamber can continue to provide programs and services to the small businesses that make up the bulk of the Chamber’s 1,200 strong membership base. Joining the Champion ranks is North Fork Bank. Total assets of the bank are approximately $17 billion with nearly 170 branch locations that provide a wide range of personal and commercial banking services at its branch locations throughout the New York Metropolitan area and Connecticut. |
