In an e-mail to the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce, Shakoor Watson said, “I just wanted to let the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce know about some of the great things that are happening for Shakoor's Sweet Tooth because you have been a part of our success.”

 - We are featured in Black Enterprise Magazine the June 2003 issue.  The article is in the Motivation Section on pages 269 and 270.

- We will be featured in the NY Daily News from May 21 through May 27 regarding our Sweet Potato Pound Cake which we will be launching on June 15, 2003, as a dry cake mix.

- We are being featured in the Network Journal, which is a small business magazine that comes out monthly.  We expect to be in the June 2003 issue.

- We are being featured in Rolling Out magazine which will also be out sometime in June.

- On June 14, 2003, I will be one of three guest chefs at Macy's in King's Plaza and will prepare the Sweet Potato Pound cake mix and provide samples.

- On June 15, 2003, I will be participating in the Real Men Cook event which will be held at the Minisink Townhouse, 646 Lenox Avenue in Harlem (between 142nd and 143rd Streets).  Proceeds from the event benefit the New York City Mission Society.
