Brooklyn Children's Museum President Carol Enseki was recently honored with a prestigious Signature Award from the New York City Chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO-NYC). The organization's annual awards ceremony highlights the achievements of highly successful female business owners who have left their "signature," or unique mark, on their business and on the New York business community.
"I am proud to be recognized among this group of remarkable women who have impacted our city in such significant ways," says Ms. Enseki.
At NAWBO-NYC's 4th Annual Signature Awards Gala held at Central Park's Tavern on the Green, Carol Enseki was presented with the Community Leadership Signature Award for her entrepenurial spirit, and for her lasting contributions to the Brooklyn Children's Museum and the community. Under Ms. Enseki's dynamic leadership, the Museum has been able to reach new levels of visibility, educational impact, community support, and fundraising. Top female news reporter Rosanna Scotto, co-anchor of the FOX 5/WNYW News at 6 p.m. and the News at 10 p.m., presented the NAWBO-NYC award to Ms. Enseki.
Additionally, Carol Enseki was recently named by the Daily News as one of "The Amazing Women of New York - 100 of our city's most interesting, innovative, and influential females," with the likes of Hillary Clinton, Kelly Ripa, and Vera Wang. |
