Brooklyn Goes Global (BGG), the Brooklyn Chamber’s targeted marketing assistance program for Brooklyn-based manufacturers, provided an opportunity for several Brooklyn businesses to participate in the Chinese Buyers Mission.
The event, sponsored by the Foreign Agricultural Service, the New York Department of Agriculture in partnership with the New York Industrial Retention Center and the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce, provided one-on-one meetings with qualified buyers from Guangdong Province of China.
Brooklyn Chamber Members attending the event at the Brooklyn Navy Yard on May 6 included: Warren Bell, Bagels by Bell; Richard Radutzky, Joyva Corp., maker of halvah, jelly rings, sesame crunch and other kosher products; and Alan Rosen, NY Pretzel.
