The Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce held its bimonthly Member Orientation at the Business Library, 280 Cadman Plaza West on May 25. About 25 new Members attended the morning’s presentation along with Brooklyn Chamber “Ambassadors” from the Small Business Seminar (SBSC) Committee, Alina Kwasnicka, Success Focused Solutions and Leigh Beckett, DevelopingStrategy. Members enjoyed a continental breakfast, networking and an overview of the Chamber’s benefits and services.
Following the presentation Members received hands-on instruction in using ibrooklyn.com and in creating their EZWeb Member pages. Maud Andrew-Quintana, Senior Librarian for Small Business at the Business Library reviewed the library’s online resources, services and programs including the upcoming announcement of the winners of this year’s PowerUP! Business Plan Competition, for which the top prize is $15,000.
