City Councilman Herbert E. Berman allocated $225,000 in the 2002 New York City budget for the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce’s iBrooklyn and Brooklyn Eats economic development programs. The funding will allow iBrooklyn, the Chamber’s business services web site to continue to expand and provide information for and about Brooklyn based companies. Brooklyn Eats, one of the borough’s most popular events, with 50 restaurants and over 800 guests, will continue to highlight Brooklyn’s extraordinary food and beverages that are featured throughout the borough.
