For information about our education programs and activities, such as the Brooklyn Cultural Adventures Program, a content rich summer camp, or the trolley schedule to transport you from one institution to another, simply look us up on the web, or get a calendar at any of our institutions. Calendars will also be distributed at key sites around Brooklyn, such as the Brooklyn Marriott, Borough Hall, and Community District Offices. Tupper Thomas, President of the Prospect Park Alliance and the Heart of Brooklyn’s Board commented, "Families throughout the Borough seek places to come together, where they can find exciting educational and recreational activities for their children. We want them to know about the wealth of opportunities right here, to explore the arts, science, culture, nature and the environment, and our new web site and calendar provide easy access to information." The Heart of Brooklyn website also links to all of the member web sites for more detailed information.Since its founding earlier this year, Heart of Brooklyn is a new and unique collaboration that uses the power of partnership to bring even more educational and cultural activities to Brooklyn and raise awareness of the cultural riches that are in right here in Brooklyn. All of the Heart of Brooklyn institutions are in physical proximity to one another, and, on the weekends, the public can ride special free trolleys that link the organizations. All Heart of Brooklyn activities are sponsored with the generous support of Independence Community Foundation, The Wallace Readers Digest Funds, Fund for the City of New York, The MAT Charitable Foundation, Rush Philanthropic Art Foundation, American Document Services, and member institutions.
