The Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce and Digital NYC:  Wired to the World recently launched a banner campaign in DUMBO.  More than 60 banners have been hung on street light poles, creating neighborhood identity and visual impact for the artistic community.

The banners were hung just in time for Brooklyn Designs, the first-ever Brooklyn based design show of contemporary furnishings and accessories that took place in DUMBO June 13-15.

Digital NYC:  Wired to the World is an initiative of the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce and the New York City Department of Small Business Services to promote affordable high-tech office space in Down Under the Manhattan Bridge Overpass (DUMBO) and Downtown Brooklyn.  Independence Community Bank is the major sponsor for the DUMBO Banner Campaign. 

Independence Community Bank (ICB) opened a new full-service branch in the DUMBO neighborhood on the Downtown Brooklyn waterfront on January 16, 2003.  ICB is the first bank to provide service to the DUMBO community in generations.
