Brooklyn's Progress July 2004
By Darryl Hollon
It’s that time of year and the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce has set the ball in motion to roll out its annual Brooklyn Business Directory and Buying Guide. The 2004-2005 Directory is going to be put into the hands of hundreds of diverse business people across Brooklyn. The Directory is a valuable tool that supports businesses by encouraging continued use by business people to readily get the day-to-day goods and services needed to successfully run a business. Through the Chamber’s web site, ibrooklyn.com, its newspaper, Brooklyn’s Progress, Chamber events and the Directory; the Brooklyn Chamber connects Members to other Members and other business professionals across the borough. Chamber Members are each other’s greatest resource for services and products as customers and as business partners. The Brooklyn Business Directory and Buying Guide is an effective resource tool linking the Brooklyn Chamber’s 1,200 Members and other business owners all year long!
So hurry, don’t delay! Contact the Chamber’s Manager of Member Services Justine Manuel, at 718-875-1000 ext. 111, to purchase an ad in this year’s Brooklyn Business Directory and Buying Guide – consider a business card pullout – a new feature popular with Members that was introduced in last year’s Directory, enhance your standard listing with a bold or classified ad, or choose one of the many other advertising options. Chamber Members should have already received a profile sheet to update their business information and an advertising purchase agreement for the 2004-2005 Directory. Note that it is important to return the profile sheet to ensure that standard listing information is accurate in the Directory. Take advantage of the early bird special and save 10 percent by returning payment and ad materials by July 16. The deadline for all ads is July 30. |
