Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce staff greeted about 20 new Chamber Members for the New Member Orientation (NMO) on July 27 held at the organization's  office at 25 Elm Pl.  Traditionally held at the Business Library, the Chamber will now host the NMO events at its conveniently located office in converted loft space in downtown Brooklyn.  At this location since November 2003, the Chamber can comfortably accommodate workshops and seminars in its conference room, with refreshments made readily available in the kitchen nearby.

“Now that we have relocated to this new beautiful space, we would like to invite Members to meet with us here at their new Chamber office,” said Membership Director Darryl Hollon.

The morning began with greetings from Chamber President Kenneth Adams, followed by an informal presentation by Chamber staff, led by Darryl, in which the Chamber’s programs and services were reviewed.  Attendees received informational handouts about the Chamber and the free EZWeb page benefit at ibrooklyn.com.  Members also enjoyed delicious breakfast pastries graciously donated by Junior’s Restaurant, while networking with each other and with Chamber staff.  The NMO concluded with a tour of the Chamber’s new office space, including the NYC Business Solutions Center, which is housed at the Chamber.

The next NMO will be held at the Chamber’s office on Tuesday, September 28, from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Check out the Chamber’s Web site at ibrooklyn.com for more details.  We hope to see you there!
