by Frances Ayende Ambassadors actively recruit new Members for the Chamber and are the public relations arm of the Brooklyn Chamber. Ambassadors play a vital role as a contact for new Members to learn about the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce. The first Ambassadors of the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce: Lisa Bing, Bing Consulting Group Alex Conti, Northwestern Mutual Financial Network Eugene Corrao, Automatic Data Processing Susan Doban, Susan Doban Architects Rita Etchie, American Express Establishment Services Anne Etra, Etra Marketing Dennis Launer, Danka Office Products Carmen Lorenzo, Shangri-La Iced Tea of New York Loretta Mathushek, EAB Bob Panico, Transworld Systems, Inc. Dominick Valenti, VSA Consulting, The Chamber honors Alex Conti from Northwestern Mutual Financial Network at our upcoming Annual Meeting for recruiting the most members and for his volunteer work with the Chamber. Conti participated in the Chamber’s annual phone-a-thon and brought in 11 new business Members. Conti co chairs the Membership Committee along with Susan Doban of Susan Doban Architects P.C. He has demonstrated to be an outstanding supporter and Member of the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce, through his dedication, commitment and hard work, he represents what an Ambassador of the Brooklyn Chamber is. Recruit - New Members for the Brooklyn Chamber. Recognition - An award system has been developed on a point system for the purpose of identifying award winners through the year. Participate - Ambassadors can give one hour or a full day at various events as volunteers. Exposure - Ambassador of the Year is awarded to one Ambassador who personifies the Ambassador Program for that current year. This will be promoted in Brooklyn’s Progress, on the Chamber web-site and at events. Ambassadors serve as the welcoming committee for the new Members. |
