A Look at Kosher Life & Food in USA back to Brooklyn's Progress Online

Brooklyn's Progress
September 2003

Kosherfest is coming!  Kosherfest 2003 - the world's only kosher food Trade Show will kick off this year at the Jacob Javits Center in New York City, October 28 - 29, 2003.  Don't miss this opportunity to promote your products during Kosherfest 2003.  Join Brooklyn Goes Global and be a part of Brooklyn's finest companies that will showcase their latest brands to buyers from across the globe.

Food Seminars will focus on organic and natural foods, and the burning question...Is Kosher food, specialty food or ethnic food, or both?  A Holiday Showcase will feature foods representative of Jewish holidays to include serving ideas and more.

New products will be introduced, including foods and spirits from such countries as Poland, Israel, Uruguay, Argentina, Canada, Russia and Australia, among others.  Another special attraction to the Trade Show will be the production competitions.  New product winners will be announced, judged by an outside panel from the NASFT.

New this year - An Exhibition of Kosher Life & Food in the USA from 1880's-1945, which will include an exhibit of the history of kosher food in the USA, underscoring keeping kosher historically during the Colonial era and the Westward expansion - Gold Rush - as well as Seder history during the Civil War period.  Another special exhibition this year includes a fantastic display of print advertisements for kosher food from the 1880's-1945, and an interactive audio/visual exhibit as it relates to the history of kosher advertising in radio.

Represent your company in Kosherfest 2003 by calling Steve Kaplansky at 718-875-1000 ext 104, to discuss how you can participate in the Brooklyn Goes Global special rates program.
