| October 07, 2008 3:00pm to 4:00pm The Trans Fat Help Center, in collaboration with the NYC Department of Health, is hosting classes for food professionals about the basics of cooking and baking without artificial trans fat. But it's not just about fry oil – learn about the requirements that went into full effect July 1, 2008. Classes are offered every month (ask about availability of classes in Spanish and Chinese). Remaining sessions are:
- Tuesday, August 26, 3 to 4 p.m.
- Wednesday, September 10, 3 to 4 p.m.
- Wednesday, September 17, 6 to 7 p.m. (Class in Spanish)
- Tuesday, October 7, 3 to 4 p.m.
- Thursday, October 16, 3 to 4 p.m.
