The Brooklyn Economic Development Corporation, in partnership with the Initiative for a Competitive Inner City, is calling on Brooklyn businesses to apply for and attend ICCC New York 2008, an event that promotes private equity as an alternative financing option for inner city businesses.

Brooklyn businesses with revenues over $2 million are encouraged to apply for the program, which includes coaching and networking events culminating in a Nov. 19 conference at the Rainbow Room in Manhattan. Attendees will have the chance to meet both formally and informally with equity capital providers and refine business plans, as well as meet investors, business mentors, peers and customers.
