A Taste of Brooklyn!
Inaugural BKLYN MADE event shows off Brooklyn's incredible edibles
Brooklyn pride was on display – and up for grabs – at the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce's Brooklyn Goes Global inaugural BKLYN MADE event, held on May 14, at Brooklyn Borough Hall.
The event, a celebration of Brooklyn's fine foods and beverages, kicked off World Trade Month 2010, and showcased some of the borough's finest food and beverage manufacturers.

Members of the public and invited guests mixed and mingled among distributors, wholesalers and buyers, as well as the artisans and entrepreneurs of Brooklyn's food manufacturing industry. While sampling locally made specialties, attendees got the inside scoop on how these Brooklyn companies got their start and how these fine foods are produced.
From Martha Stewart's favorite smoked fish by Brooklyn's own Acme Smoked Fish to the famed Tower Isles Frozen Foods' beef patties – familiar favorites and new delicacies were represented.
